4. Tim Seifert

Tim Seifert has been a proven performer in the T20 circuit. The 27-year-old has featured in 159 games in the shortest format and aggregated 3143 runs at a strike rate of 125.56. He is someone who can take the attack to the opposition from ball one and Delhi Capitals roped in the wicketkeeper batter for the 2022 season.

With David Warner unavailable for the starting games of the season, Seifert was given a few opportunities to showcase his batting might. However, the Kiwi batter failed to impress with his showings and could manage just 24 runs in two games. Following the mediocre displays, he was sidelined from the team.

DC decided to release the Wanganui-born ahead of the 2023 IPL auction and so, Seifert will go under the hammer at the much-awaited event in December. The New Zealand batter has been far from his best of late. He featured in Caribbean Premier League 2022 and scored 221 runs in 10 games for Trinbago Knight Riders at a poor strike rate of 93.24. Given the swashbuckling batter has been out of form, IPL franchises might not show interest in picking him at the upcoming auction.
