This year, we are witnessing a different Mohammed Siraj as he is the lead bowler in a considerably weak RCB bowling lineup. Even though the bowling attack looks thin, Siraj’s contribution has helped RCB to pick up crucial wickets during the delicate phases of the match. His in-swinging deliveries have out-foxed many batters and this makes him a threat.

During the home game against RR, Siraj picked up the wicket of Jos Buttler in the first over itself. It was a brilliant delivery as he managed to find the gap and rattle the stumps. For any bowler, Chinnaswamy is a difficult ground to bowl, but Siraj has been able to strike for his captain regularly.

Later on, Siraj was able to bowl decently at the death overs as well against KKR. He managed to pick up the wicket of Andre Russell in the match. Even though his economy rate is a bit high, one needs to take into consideration that Chinnaswamy has small dimensions and it is a batter’s paradise.
