Rajat Patidar, who smashed an unbeaten 112 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the IPL 2022 Eliminator match, is all set to miss the first half of this year’s tournament due to a heel injury. His role is vital for his franchise as he adds strength to the middle order with his fiery batting.

Recently, he had an amazing domestic season for Madhya Pradesh. The right-handed batter exuded confidence with his bat in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23. With 272 runs in six matches at a splendid strike rate of 178.94, he ended up as the highest run-getter for his team.

In his last major tournament, the Ranji Trophy 2022-23, Patidar’s batting efforts took his team to the semi-final. He scored 565 runs in 12 innings of seven matches, which included a ton and six half-centuries. Noting his recent numbers with the bat, RCB will hope that the 29-year-old recovers soon from his injury.
