3. MS Dhoni

Veteran cricketer MS Dhoni has been under scrutiny throughout this IPL season, with fans and experts alike questioning his impact with the bat. In the home fixture against MI, the right-handed batter walked in late after the fall of the sixth wicket and faced just two deliveries, offering little opportunity to play the game.
However, the away fixture at Wankhede Stadium provided a more promising stage. The wicketkeeper-batter came in during the 17th over with Ravindra Jadeja already set at the crease, and had the chance to showcase his finishing prowess. But his attempt to accelerate against death-over specialist Jasprit Bumrah backfired, as the Indian legend mistimed a shot and was caught by Tilak Varma. Across both encounters, the Ranchi-born stalwart failed to make any notable contribution.
