1) Jasprit Bumrah
Jasprit Bumrah has established himself as India’s biggest game-changer of the generation. That was exemplified again in the 2026 T20 World Cup, with Bumrah finishing as the joint-highest wicket taker in the tournament, with 14 scalps to his name. His 1/35 in the semifinal dented an England side which looked to run away with the game despite a mammoth 254 chase, while his spell of 4/15 in the final broke the back of the New Zealand innings.
With 183 wickets in the tournament, Bumrah is Mumbai’s leading wicket-taker in the competition, and will be looking to add to that in the following season. He has been a vital cog in four of MI’s five title triumphs and now stands as a veteran of the franchise, an ever-reliable presence in the middle when he takes the ball.
