Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction is only a few days away and the elation among fans is recognising no limits as they are eager to know what will be the combination of their favourite IPL team ahead of the 2023 edition.

Recently, a couple of Indian domestic cricket events concluded and viewers witnessed some jaw-dropping performances from some of the Indian uncapped players.

With their sublime performances in recent events, these players have been hitting headlines quite frequently and now it will be interesting to see how these players will fare in the most-anticipated event on December 23 in Kochi.

Considering the impressive outings of some of these players, the franchises will be eager to grab them at the upcoming auction by spending huge sums. Let's check out some uncapped Indian players who might turn out to be steal deals at the forthcoming auction:

5. Shivam Mavi

Shivam Mavi has played four seasons of the Indian Premier League since 2018. In all the four editions he represented Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). However, his average outings with the ball in the last IPL edition led to his release from the KKR camp. This month, he will go under the hammer once again as he has listed his name for the mini-auction.

Earlier, this year, he delivered his worst performance in the IPL as he picked up only five wickets in six games at an economy rate of 10.32. But he seems to be getting back to rhythm. Recently, he showed an impactful display for Uttar Pradesh in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23. Bagging ten wickets in seven games at a scintillating economy rate of 6.64 in the T20 tournament, he garnered plenty of attention.

Following his fine performance in the T20 event, he also did well in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022-23 and picked up 14 wickets in seven matches at an economy rate of 4.15. At the auction, his base price will be INR 40 lakhs, and based on his current form and recent bowling displays after the 2022 IPL season, he could be a nice pick for any franchise at the forthcoming mini-auction.
