1. Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal is one of India’s leading spinners in white-ball cricket. In T20Is, he has played 69 games and bagged 85 wickets at an economy of 8.12. The 32-year-old has been entrusted to provide breakthroughs in the middle-overs and has done it with perfection.

Chahal is a genuine wicket-taker and has been a vital cog in India’s T20 setup. He is one of those spinners who doesn't mind luring the batsmen with the flight and several of his wickets have come with the batsmen attempting to clear the ropes. Thus, Chahal’s aggressive style of bowling would have been aided by the big grounds of Australia. However, he not got a single match at the T20 carnival yet.

Rohit Sharma & Co. have been inclined towards increasing their batting depth and hence, have gone with spin-bowling all-rounders Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin in the starting XI.
