Former India batter and ICC World Cup winner Suresh Raina is set to join Toronto Sixers in the Canada Super 60. The T10-format tournament is another league that the former will feature in after announcing his retirement. Raina opened up about joining the league, calling it a special experience to play in the inaugural edition. Notably, Raina is out of touch in the WCL 2025 while playing for the India champions. However, his experience is expected to help the Sixers in their campaign.
“I’m really excited to be part of the Canada Super 60. Since this is the inaugural edition, it already feels special and promises to be a top-class tournament. The Toronto Sixers have a well-balanced squad with some big international names, as well as Canadian Talent and I’m looking forward to playing alongside them and contributing to the team’s success," he said.
