Top 5 batters who might be highest run-getters in 2024

2023 Saw several players breaking records and raking up runs across formats. There were a total of 11 players who scored more than 1500 runs in the last calendar year. Multiple records were made and multiple were broken by the batters in the last year and so would be expected this year as well. Indian batters dominated the last season, occupying three of the top five positions last year. They would be looking forward to a replica of the same this year as well.

He has been one of India’s highest run scorers through formats even though he is yet to play in the One Day Internationals. He is currently the leading run-scorer in the Tests this year among all nations playing four matches so far.

He has also been Rohit’s opening partner in the T20Is for India where he has been scoring aggressively. With the T20I World Cup ahead, he would be one player to keep an eye on.
