Rinku Singh’s name might feature in India’s team for the upcoming five-match T20I series. The left-handed batter looked extraordinary for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2023. Notching up 474 runs with four half-centuries in 14 matches at a strike rate of 149.52, he became the leading run-scorer for KKR in the tournament.

This IPL season, he donned the role of a match-finisher for Knight Riders and won a few games for the two-time IPL champions. These numbers and facts might entice selectors and there are high chances he might travel along with the team that will tour the Caribbean islands in August.

Earlier, he looked fabulous in the 2022-23 domestic season as well. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23, he looked confident with his bat for Uttar Pradesh, scoring 139 runs with a half-century in four innings of seven matches, at a strike rate of 132.38.
