The World Cup 2023 entered its second week with the South Africa versus Australia clash at the EKANA Sports City, Lucknow. Indian pitches are known for batting-friendly tracks but it’s not been the case in every World Cup game. In the first week of the World Cup 2023, there are some matches to note where some teams looked confident with the ball.

In some matches, it was seen that some bowling units looked spunky and complemented their batting attacks to win matches. However, there are also some bowling attacks that have failed to find a rhythm in this tournament. Discussing more, let’s rate the bowling performances of all ten teams in the first week of the World Cup 2023.

Here are the ratings of the bowling performances of all 10 sides in the first week

The Netherlands played quality cricket in the World Cup 2023 qualifier in Zimbabwe and advanced to the World Cup 2023. In this tournament, the Dutch side hasn’t created any impact so far but in the upcoming matches, their endeavours will be to upset some heavyweights.

In their first game against Pakistan in Hyderabad, Scott Edwards and his men faced a crushing 81-run defeat but their bowling attack gave a headache to the Men in Green. Scalping Pakistan’s three wickets at a score of 38, the Dutch team had put Babar Azam and his men under pressure.

The Netherlands’ next game was against New Zealand at the same venue but this time, their bowling was completely dominated. Taking advantage of their indisciplined bowling, the Kiwis racked up 322 runs on the board which became too big for the Dutch batters to achieve in the end.
