Here are the X-Factors for each team in the tournament:
5. Delhi Capitals - Laura Harris
Laura Harris is a marauder with the bat and has knocked the wind out of bowling attacks with her power-hitting might in the Women’s Big Bash League. The 32-year-old has featured in 107 WBBL matches, plundering a total of 1061 runs at a stunning strike rate of 155.80.
Harris was quite magnificent in WBBL 2022 as well. She featured in 16 games for Brisbane Heat and smashed 270 runs at a jaw-dropping strike rate of 204.54. Delhi Capitals liked what they saw in the right-handed batter and signed her at the auctions for INR 45 lakh.
Harris is a ferocious striker of the ball and is known to hit sixes for fun. The ace batter’s inclusion will provide firepower to the Delhi batting lineup and hence, it will enable the team to post competitive totals on the board on a consistent basis.
