Even though he started his international career on a high, Isuru Udana lost it midway and struggled with his consistency. However, he is turning out to be a late bloomer and is churning out some terrific performances at the age of 30. Once touted as the next Chaminda Vaas, Udana did justice to the tag with his performance in the inaugural APL. The left-arm pacer picked up 17 wickets in 8 games in the event at an economy rate just under 8.

At just 20 years of age, Pat Brown has made a significant name for himself in the English domestic circuit. He is right on the verge of making his England debut after a brilliant show in the T20 Blast. Brown picked up 31 scalps in 16 games in the T20 Blast 2018 at an average of 13.35. His economy rate is 7.64 while he has got a terrific strike rate of 10.4. The pacer notched up a four-wicket haul in the tournament and is expected to make it big in the near future.
