Dhruv Jurel adjudged POTM:
"I play according to the demands of the situation. The 1st innings, we needed to get runs as well, we knew we had to bat last and so any runs would be vital. I was involved in some partnerships, so credit does go to all those who stayed and added runs. I just saw the ball and then reacted to it, not thinking too far ahead. The conversation was good (with Shubman Gill in the 2nd innings), we just broke it into 10-run sets and started developing the partnership," Jurel said.
Here's what Rohit Sharma said after the win:
"It's been a very hard-fought series. To come at the right side of it at the end of 4 Tests, I'm feeling very proud of the boys - I'm happy at having achieved what we wanted to do, a very composed and very spirited set of guys. It clearly tells me that they want to be here, all the hard grind, in local and domestic cricket. It's a big challenge to play Test cricket, but the response has been quite encouraging. The only work for Rahul bhai and me is to get the things done. They're very clear at what they want to do, Jurel, in his second play, showed a lot of composure and has the shots as well. His 90 in the first innings brought us close to England's total and he showed a lot of calmness and maturity in the 2nd innings. It's always not pleasing to miss key players, but there's nothing we can't do as a group. It wasn't easy for these guys to come and fill their shoes, there was a lot of pressure from outside, not inside, a lot of things were written and spoken about, but performances like this will motivate them to do better in the future. We turn up to every Test match thinking we will win, we're not going to dwell into the past, we're 3-1 ahead with a Test to go. A lot of the guys haven't been used to playing a 5-Test series, but we'll go there to do the same job and try to win the last Test as well," Rohit said.
Here's what Ben Stokes said after the toss:
"I think it was a great Test match. If you see the scoreboard, it'll say India won by 5 wickets, but it doesn't give credit to the way things unfolded. I can only be proud of my team, we've had some inexperienced spinners (Bashir and Hartley), but I'm proud of their efforts. Part of my captaincy is allowing the young guys to revel and the freedom to play in some difficult conditions in India. I am a massive Test cricket fan, the number of youngsters coming along in both teams set things up nicely for the future. If you look at yesterday, anything was possible, it was incredibly difficult against the spinners, we knew the pitch wouldn't get any better, as we saw today. I don't think the criticism of Joe Root has been fair, the sheer amount of cricket he's played, he's incredible. So is Bashir, taking 8 wickets after having hardly played a lot of cricket is superb. You want to win series, you want to play and win cricket matches. The only thing I can say is we left nothing on the field, we've fought hard and I'm happy with that," Stokes said.

Phenomenal series win by our young team. Showed grit, determination and resilience.@BCCI
Here's what Shubman Gill said after the match:
"We were put under pressure by them, but we got a good start by our openers, losing couple of wickets put pressure. But Jurel came out and took the pressure off. You have to see the situation and play accordingly - they were bowling well and protecting the boundaries, also not giving maidens and keep picking the singles (was the mindset). I just told him (Jurel) you batted beautifully in the first innings and to have the same mindset, try to use the feet to negate the off-spinner. The way he came down and played was beautiful. The first innings the ball was not turning much and hence I didn't use my feet, but second innings I decided to take the LBW out of the equation by using my feet. It means the world to us, coming here and having to play the series with not much batting experience, having lost KL after the first Test.. but Rohit Bhai backed us and gave us the confidence to go out and play with freedom," Gill said.

BACK-TO-BACK SIXES!
HALF-CENTURY FOR SHUBMAN GILL. He brings it up in some style. Back-to-back sixes to Shoaib Bashir as India are moments away from scripting a historic series win over England.
50-RUN PARTNERSHIP
Brilliant from Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel, who didn't panic and are getting closer to script a memorable victory in India's favour. 21 runs are needed as the hosts are 171/5
After a phenomenal win over England in the third Test in Rajkot, team India is likely to drop ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah from the fourth Test in Ranchi, which is slated to begin on February 23. Meanwhile, KL Rahul is yet to recover from his injury and has been ruled out of the Ranchi Test. In his absence, Rajat Patidar is expected to continue in the middle order but his form remains to be a concern.
On the other hand, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Sarfaraz Khan are in remarkable form at the moment. Jaiswal is currently the leading run-scorer of the series, while Gill made 91 runs in the second innings of the third Test. Sarfaraz Khan impressed with his stroke-making in Rajkot, which has cemented his place in the playing XI for the remaining matches.
When it comes to England, Bazball hasnโt quite worked well for the visitors. Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope have done well with the bat but the others need to step up. Joe Root, who has a tremendous record in Indian conditions, is yet to make a mark, while Bairstow has failed to deliver. Meanwhile, Ollie Robinson is set to partner alongside James Anderson in the pace department while Rehan Ahmad has been handed a break.
