Sri Lanka won the second game in Potchefstroom by seven wickets to level the series 1-1. The series decider is scheduled to commence at the Buffalo Park in the East London.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first the hosts could only score a below-par 137 runs despite opener Anneke Bosch's crucial fifty. Star all-rounder Marizanne Kapp also played a significant knock, of 36-ball 44 runs. Achini Kulasuriya was the pick of the bowlers for Sri Lanka, who finished with excellent figures of 2/26.

During the chase, 18-year-old Vishmi Gunaratne led the charge for the visitors scoring 65 runs off 57 deliveries, with the help of nine boundaries and one maximum. Later, Kavisha Dilhari, who came to bat at No. 5 played a quickfire 45* off 28 deliveries as Sri Lanka chased down the target with seven balls to spare.
