IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans finished second on the points table after the round-robin phase of the tournament, with four wins and three losses from seven games. They lost to Lyca Kovai Kings in Qualifier 1 as they failed to defend a 201-run target. Sai Sudharsan's unbeaten 123 off 56 balls helped the Kings to romp home with seven wickets and as many balls to spare.

Meanwhile, Dindigul Dragons were placed at No. 4 on the points table at the end of the league stage, having four wins and three losses but a net run-rate (NRR) of +0.109 compared to +0.677 of the Tamizhans. In the Eliminator, Dindigul chased down a 159-run target with four wickets and one ball in the bank against Chepauk Super Gillies. Earlier in the season, Dindigul beat Tiruppur in a rain-curtailed 13-over per side contest by eight wickets, chasing down a 109-run target with seven balls to spare.
