Last season, DC missed out on the top four by just one point. However, the management has shown trust in their squad this time around, keeping the core intact. Their squad is brimming with match-winners, up and down the order, making them a dangerous prospect at this Indian summer’s showpiece 20-over tournament.

5. Tristan Stubbs - Middle order Batter

Tristan Stubbs is set to commence his third season with DC, and yet he has already established himself as one of their key match-winners. The right-handed batter will slot into the middle order, where he can very easily stay till the end and help win his side games or help them post a huge total.

Stubbs scored 300 runs at an average of 50 and a strike rate of around 151 last time around. Out of the 13 innings that he batted in, the South African remained not out in seven of them, showcasing his pedigree to stay up until the end. He is also capable of being the finisher, like he showed in 2024 when he struck at 190.90.
