India U19 registered a dominant, one-sided victory over Pakistan U19 in the Under-19 Asia Cup, but beyond the result, a moment of sportsmanship from Indian pacer Kishan Kumar Singh caught widespread attention. During Pakistan’s innings, Kishan not only impressed with the ball but also produced a gesture that quickly went viral on social media.

The incident occurred after 36 overs when Pakistani batter Huzaifa Ehsan’s right shoelace came undone. Struggling to fix it while at the crease, Huzaifa sought help, and Kishan stepped in to tie the shoelaces for him. The moment was captured by the broadcast cameras and soon circulated widely online, particularly among Pakistani fans, who praised the young Indian pacer’s conduct.

The image sparked discussions across social media platforms, with many highlighting the spirit of sportsmanship shown by Kishan despite the intense rivalry between the two teams. Some posts contrasted the gesture with reports surrounding post-match formalities, claiming that the Indian team did not participate in handshakes despite ICC encouragement. However, the viral moment stood out as a reminder that mutual respect can exist even amid high-stakes contests.
