Former India cricketer Wriddhiman Saha has been named as the mentor of the Siliguri Strikers in the second edition of the Bengal Pro T20 League. The former Indian cricketer will work with both the men's and the women's team in the league, which will take place in June. The move was made official by the team in their recent press release on Friday, May 23.

Saha expressed his delight to have joined the promising team as a mentor and further said that he hopes to share his experience and learning with the youngsters and talented individuals, which will help them do wonders on big stage in the sport. Likewise, Rishabh Bhatia, the team director, felt that Saha's astute leadership and technical knowledge would be handy for the Strikers in the second edition of the league.

"I'm delighted to join the Siliguri Strikers as a mentor. I look forward to sharing my experience with the talented players and helping them perform at their best on the big stage," Saha said, as quoted by Siliguri Strikers in a press release on Friday.

"His technical knowledge and leadership will be invaluable to our franchise. His dedication on the field perfectly aligns with our vision for Season 2, and we're thrilled to welcome him to the Strikers family,"  said. The focus of the Strikers would be to go a step further in the second season of the Bengal Pro T20 League.
