Mohammed Shami has been directed the Calcutta High Court to pay monthly maintenance of INR 4 lakh to his estranged wife, Hasin Jahan, and daughter. A bench led by Justice Ajoy Kumar Mukherjee passed the order on a plea filed by Shami's wife.
Shami will have to pay a monthly sum of INR 1.5 lakh and INR 2.5 lakh to his wife and daughter, respectively.
“In my considered opinion, a sum of INR 1,50,000/- per month to the petitioner no.1 (wife) and INR 2,50,000/- to her daughter would be just fair and reasonable to ensure financial stability for both the petitioners,” stated the court in its order on Tuesday, July 1, as per Hindustan Times.

He went to a shopping mall with her daughter. The company for which Shami advertises, he took her there. My daughter bought shoes and clothes from that shop. Shami doesn't have to pay if he buys anything from there. My daughter wanted a guitar and camera, he didn't buy her those stuff," Hasin had shared with anandabazar.com.
The report also mentioned that Hasin had also shared that Shami did not care enough regarding his daughter and only posted a clip of him meeting up due to not having any other stuff to post on social media.
