Mohammed Siraj wasn't too pleased with Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley's antics, as the English openers took an ample amount of time to get ready in order to avoid facing an over from Jasprit Bumrah ahead of Lunch on Day 5.
Chasing a target of 371 for a win, Duckett and Crawley safely negotiated six overs in the closing stages of Day 4 while adding 21 runs to the total. On Day 5, the openers had to dig deep, especially in the first hour, as the Indian pacers bowled their hearts out without much luck.
Duckett hit a flurry of boundaries after the first drinks break on Day 5, while Crawley was happy to bide his time in the middle. They mixed caution with aggression, toning down the usual flamboyance associated with the 'Bazball' approach.
As the Lunch break was on the horizon, the England openers understood the importance of keeping their wickets intact. They knew that they had already added quite a few runs on the board, and they were willing to head into the break unscathed.
Siraj bowled the 30th over of England's second innings, and he was seen sprinting back to his mark to sneak in another over. However, Crawley pulled up very late as the Hyderabad pacer was about to bowl his final delivery. The right-handed batter cited movement behind the sight screen. However, Harsha Bhogle, who was on commentary, pointed out that there was no movement.
Siraj had a go at Crawley, giving him a mouthful before turning his attention to Duckett, who was enjoying Crawley's exploits from the other end. The England duo managed to succeed in their plans as the umpire tossed the bails, signalling for Lunch.

The Three Lions finished at 117/0 in 30 overs and need another 254 runs from 66 overs, if the weather holds good. Duckett raced to 64* off 89 balls, while Crawley remained unbeaten on 42 off 93 deliveries.
