Former English cricketer Moeen Ali has commended on Mohammed Siraj for his exploits during the recently-concluded five-match series between England and India. Siraj emerged as the leading wicket-taker (23 wickets in nine innings) in the recent five-match series. Moeen listed Siraj's attributes which make him a 'world-class' bowler.
"Siraj has been outstanding in the England series. The energy, aggression, and consistency he brings with the ball is world-class. He's matured into a genuine match-winner for India, and it's always a challenge for batters facing him," stated Moeen Ali during his recent visit to the London office of GFS Developments.

Moeen also shared that Siraj's hardworking and relentless nature makes him stand out from the rest of the bowling unit.
"What impresses me the most is his ability to control the ball. He's got a big heart and never backs down - that's what makes him so special. Credit to him for the impact he's making," added Moeen.
Siraj secured his match-best haul of 9/190 (4/86 in 16.2 overs and 5/104 in 30.1 overs) at The Oval to level the series for India. The six-run win in the final contest helped the Shubman Gill-led team retain the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.
The 31-year-old pacer bowled a whopping 185.3 overs across nine innings. He was the only Indian pacer to take part in all five matches. The other members of the pace-bowling unit were either rested to manage workload or were dropped.
