Pakistan lost their ongoing Test series against Australia after losing the first two games of the series. Led by Pat Cummins, the Aussies dominated the visitors in every aspect of the game and managed to register two wins in the first two matches of the series.

With the third and final Test around the corner, former Pakistan cricketer Salman Butt came forward to opine that Pakistan should consider dropping opener Imam-ul-Haq in the third Test as the batter does not have any strokes.

Butt also opined that Imam can be replaced with Saim Ayub for the third Test and stated that Imam does not play any shots to score runs other than the flick.

"He can be replaced by Saim Ayub for the last Test. From what I have seen, Imam-ul-Haq does not have any strokes. There are no run-scoring shots at all. The only shot he plays is the flick. He won't go for the ball, considering that he struggled with short balls even in India,” Salman Butt said in a video on his YouTube Channel.

He could have hit a century this time as he looked very comfortable at the crease: Salman Butt

Furthermore, Salman Butt also talked about the performance of skipper Shan Masood against Australia. Scoring 60 runs in 71 deliveries, Masood was the highest run-getter for Pakistan during the run chase and brought his side very close to a win.

"With the command and control he has shown with the bat, I want to see him score a big hundred. He could have hit a century this time as he looked very comfortable at the crease. When you are playing really well, and then the opposition captain comes to bowl, who is equally good, you need to change your momentum. He is mature enough to know these things,” Butt added.
