With the 2023 Indian Premier League right around the corner, fans are buzzing with excitement seeing the biggest T20 league in action once again. Last year’s finalists Rajasthan Royals, suffered a heavy defeat to Gujarat Titans. The franchise recently came forward to reveal their official song for the 2023 IPL season.

While staying true to the lyrics and the motto of ‘Halla Bol’, the song was written by lyricist, Sholke Lal, and composed and sung by Bollywood music director, Amit Trivedi. The song seems to encapsulate the essence of being a Rajasthan Royals fan through a rich blend of modern and folk music.

The song was first revealed at a concert, where Amit Trivedi performed it in front of a live audience in Jaipur, which is also the home of Rajasthan Royals.

Following the release of the song, Jake Lush McCrum, the CEO of Rajasthan Royals, came forward to talk about what music means for the franchise and how it symbolizes what they stand for.

"Music is an important and vibrant way for the Royals, both players and fans, to connect emotionally. It’s been fantastic to see the love from our fans in the creation of this song. I can’t wait to hear them chanting it in the stadium, helping drive us to victory," McCrum said in a release.

Rajasthan Royals will look to learn from the 2022 edition of the IPL

Rajasthan Royals more or less dominated the entirety of the 2022 IPL. Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal bagged the orange and purple caps, respectively. RR will hope that the same can be the case in 2023 as well.

In their first match of the tournament, Rajasthan Royals will be looking to get off to a winning start as they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 2. New signings Joe Root and Jason Holder will look to make an instant impact as the tournament kicks off soon.
