Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Lucknow Super Giants met in the 15th match of IPL 2024 on Tuesday at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. After winning the toss, RCB decided to bowl first. However, they made the unexpected decision to fire Vyshak Vijaykumar.
Earlier, LSG controlled the RCB bowlers for a large portion of their innings, but in the last overs, they rallied. After smashing 81 off 56 balls, Quinton de Kock was sent out by Reece Topley in the 17th over. The run rate for LSG fell off significantly in the 15th and 18th overs. After that, LSG's innings ended with 181/5 in 20 overs, and Nicholas Pooran finished unbeaten on 40 off 21 after a few strong smashes in the final two overs. LSG dismissed RCB for 153.
