Chennai Super Kings (CSK) congratulated Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on their maiden title win by beating Punjab Kings in the final of the IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Having a rich history of being arch-rivals, CSK spread the message of love off the field by wishing RCB.
Along with that, CSK gave PBKS their flowers for fighting hard. CSK posted the image of the moment RCB's players, coaching, support, and other staff members lifted the title. They wrote "Congratulations on the maiden IPL championship, RCB!" along with emojis of a lion and a heart.
The 5-time champions did not forget the losing side in the final and sent them a message of strength in the tough times. They praised the efforts of the Kings to give a tough time to the eventual champions in the final, in their first appearance at the big stage since 2014.
"Chin up, Kings! You have shown what sheer grit is capable of! A big #Whistlepodu for the effort," CSK admin wrote on their official 'X' handle.

RCB's campaign in the IPL 2025
RCB started their IPL 2025 on a strong note by beating the 2024 champions, KKR, in their backyard, in the inaugural match of the season, which was the start of their away winning streak. They followed it up with a win over CSK in Chennai, the first such instance since 2008.
While RCB kept on conquering away venues like Jaipur and Mullanpur, they lost at home to teams like Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals, and Punjab Kings. RCB found the formula to win at home, as they beat RR and CSK before the temporary halt of the season due to security reasons.
RCB lost against SRH in Lucknow, following which they beat LSG by chasing 227 to qualify for Qualifier 1. Against PBKS in Qualifier 1, RCB claimed a one-sided win after dismissing them for 101. In the final, RCB beat PBKS again by 6 runs to win their maiden IPL title.
