Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Shubman Gill put an end to the rumours of a rift with Hardik Pandya after their Eliminator clash in IPL 2025. The five-time champions, Mumbai Indians (MI), defeated GT on May 30 in New Chandigarh in a crucial knockout game.
There was speculation around tension between Gill and Pandya surfaced after videos from the toss showed both skippers seemingly exchanging angry looks. The chatter intensified when Pandya appeared to celebrate Gill's dismissal a bit too enthusiastically, which was misconstrued as disruption between them.
But, Gill dismissed the rumours by posting a story on Instagram, saying, "Nothing but love (Don’t believe everything you see on the internet)." Pandya also responded through a story, saying, "Always, Shubhu baby," while ending the rumours.
