The day finally arrived when the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) celebrated the IPL title win. One of the stars for the Men in Red was Krunal Pandya, who delivered a match-winning spell of 2/17 with the title on the line.

The impressive spell by Krunal Pandya earned him the Player of the Match award in the final. The star all-rounder, in a recent post, while posing with the trophy, recreated the iconic celebration of his brother Hardik Pandya, who did the same pose after winning the T20 World Cup in 2024 and the Champions Trophy in 2025. The fans on social media have also given a positive response to the post by Krunal, saying that it reminds them of two ICC events.

It is safe to say that the last two years have been great for the Pandya brothers, who have won major titles and have made vital contributions to their teams. This was Krunal’s fourth IPL title overall, and it is the second time he has won the Player of the Match award in the final, which he had previously achieved in the 2017 season while playing for the Mumbai Indians (MI). The 34-year-old all-rounder had played an important knock of 47 off 38 deliveries during that final game.

Krunal Pandya in IPL 2025

The final match was not the only iconic performance by Krunal. He was a crucial part of the Men in Red throughout the season. Krunal might have played only a few decent knocks this season with the bat, but he was one of the top performers for the team with the ball and took some brilliant catches in the field as well.

Speaking of his performance with the ball, he was the joint second-highest wicket-taker for RCB this year, taking 17 wickets in 15 games at an average of 22.29 and an economy rate of 8.23 throughout the season. His best performance came against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium, where he took 4/45 in a high-scoring thriller.
