MS Dhoni gave a cheeky reply to one of Ravi Shastri's questions during the toss between RCB and CSK in the 52nd match of the IPL 2025. After the CSK called it right at the toss and elected to bowl first, Shastri asked Dhoni if there was any plan to stop the RCB batters from playing an aggressive brand of cricket at the top.

Dhoni had a smile and replied, "Let it be plans, Ravi bhai." As Shastri laughed in reply, the CSK skipper continued and spoke about what their plans were after getting knocked out of the tournament. Dhoni claimed the focus was to make the most of the four games they had in the season. He wanted to try out some options keeping in mind of the upcoming edition.

While the CSK skipper felt the need to win games, his emphasis was on getting the most out of the last 4 matches. "We want to make the most of the last four games we have got. Try to look into next year and which individual will fit into what role," the CSK leader added.

Virat Kohli and Jacob Bethell shine for RCB

"Yes, we want to win games, but getting the most out of the four games is important," Dhoni said. As it turned out, CSK did not have any answer to the onslaught of the RCB openers. Both Jacob Bethell and Virat Kohli put on a show by taking on pacers and spinners equally well.

While Virat was at his classy best, Bethell was innovative and used his long handle well. The duo put on a partnership of 97 runs for the first wicket. The bowlers did not have an answer for their onslaught early in the match.

Bethall played 33 balls and scored 55 runs, which included 8 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 166.66. In his second IPL match, the Southpaw scored a fifty. On the other hand, Kohli played arguably his best knock of the season. Virat scored 62(33), which included 5 fours and sixes each.
