Team India got off to a shaky start against Pakistan in their recent clash at the T20 World Cup 2024. Batting first, India only managed to post a total of 119 runs in the first innings. Chasing the target, Pakistan looked very comfortable during the early stages of the run chase.

However, India’s exceptional bowling attack spoiled Pakistan’s plans to chase. The exceptional prowess of Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya dismantled Pakistan as the Indian team won the game by six runs.

During the game, former India and Pakistan cricketers, Yuvraj Singh and Shahid Afridi quickly went viral after they were seen engaging in a conversation about the match.

The clip begins with Yuvraj Singh asking Afridi why he is sad, to which, the former Pakistan cricketer replies, “Isn't it fair that I am sad? Was this a match we (Pakistan) should have lost? When we needed to score 40 runs to win, Yuvraj told me "Lala, congratulations! I am leaving, won't watch the rest of the game". I told him 'Yuvi, chaalis runs bohut hain iss pitch pe. Itni jaldi mubarakbaad na de mujhe (40 runs are a lot on this pitch, don't congratulate me so early).”

“I told you Pakistan will win, but I was still confident that we (India) can win it from there. Winning and losing is part of the game, what's important is that our bonhomie should continue,” Yuvraj Singh said.
