Mumbai Indians lost two wickets in quick succession as the Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer Marco Jansen shifted the momentum in the 25th Indian Premier League 2023 match on April 18. Apart from his bowling prowess, Jansen also shone while fielding with a stunning airborne save to deny Mumbai's Cameron Green a six in the 11th over as the Sunrisers made a quick comeback.
The tall South African took a one-handed catch over the ropes at the long-off but after realizing that he has crossed the boundary line, he released the ball before landing his feet on the ground. The officials took considerable time to recheck the save and concluded it as no six.
Furthermore, Jansen impressed in the next over as he dismissed both Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav to thwart the pressure. Ishan added 38 runs but took 31 balls, while Suryakumar walked off the pitch after facing just three deliveries. Hyderabad skipper Aiden Markram took two stunning catches to dismiss Ishan and Suryakumar as Mumbai Indians posted 95/3 in 12 overs after smashing 53 runs in the powerplay overs.
