Former Australia batter Stuart Law has picked his favourite finishers while interacting ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 encounter between the defending champions Australia and the Asia Cup holders Sri Lanka on Tuesday, October 25.

While Law heaped praise on his former teammate Michael Bevan, who is regarded as one of the best finishers in world cricket, he reserved the highest praise for the legendary Indian skipper MS Dhoni. At the same time, Law also recalled Dhoni's memorable unbeaten 91-run knock against Sri Lanka in the 2011 World Cup final.

"I had the pleasure of playing with Michael Bevan in 50-overs cricket and he was pretty exceptional in gelling a run chase. To me, the player I really enjoyed watching, demoralizing opposition, or being a part of the coaching staff that this player did it to as well- MS Dhoni," said Law while speaking on 'BatBricks7 presents Run Ki Runneeti' on CricTracker.

"When he took a stand against Sri Lanka, when he took a stand in the World Cup final in Mumbai, it was just a masterpiece of a controlled batting and aggression, knowing when to put the foot down, knowing whom to target, he is a master.

"Virat Kohli on the other night (lauding his unbeaten 82 against Pakistan). If you want to play T20 cricket, just get a copy of that innings. That's how you play T20 cricket. If the West Indies are watching, that's how you play T20 cricket. He's got everything - technique, grace, power, running between the wickets aggressively, nothing else you need. I didn't see a reverse sweep, I didn't see a ramp over the keeper's head. I just saw a good, pure cricket shots from an absolutely class player," he added.

"But, you know he runs a very close second, but MS Dhoni to me was unbelievable. He did it too many times," Law added.
