The game of cricket is considered to be a gentleman’s game, and the players need to live up to the spirit of the game. However, there have been some ugly moments on the field that do not live up to this spirit, as seen in the recent match between the South Africa Emerging team and the Bangladesh Emerging team, involving Tshepo Ntuli and Bangladesh’s Ripon Mondol.

The incident took place in the Test match after Mondol had struck Ntuli for a six. While people are used to seeing verbal altercations, the two players were involved in a scuffle, where they were initially seen shoving each other.

Ntuli was also seen tugging at Mondol’s helmet, which eventually led to the umpires intervening. The scenes were ugly and were aptly described by on-air commentator Nabil Kaiser. The video of the fight has gone viral on social media, with plenty of fans condemning the actions of the players.

“This is extreme, this is unacceptable. Normally, we see verbal altercations in a cricket field, but we don't often see a scuffle. Ntuli struck Ripon's helmet at one point," Kaiser said while commentating on air.
