Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Shivam Dube has reportedly purchased apartments in Mumbai worth more than Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper Rishabh Pant's Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega-auction price. Pant was roped in by LSG for INR 27 crore, making him the most expensive player in the league's history.

As per Business Today, Dube has purchased two apartments in Anderi West in Mumbai. The worth of both these apartments combined is INR 27.50 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by online property portal Square Yards. The 31-year-old cricketer registered the transactions this month.

These apartments are on adjacent floors of the DLH Enclave in Oshiwara. According to the report, the carpet area (cumulative) of the apartment is a whopping 4200 sqft. Meanwhile, there is also a terrace with a carpet area of 3800 sqft.

There are three parking spaces in each of the two apartments. The total stamp duty is estimated to be INR 1.65 crore with registration fees of INR 30,000.

How did Dube fare in IPL 2025?

Dube was retained by CSK for INR 12 crore ahead of the mega-auction after doing well for the franchise in the two preceding seasons. However, the southpaw blew hot and cold in the 18th edition of the tournament.

He scored 357 runs from 14 matches at an average of 32.45. However, his strike rate was only 132.22, his lowest in an IPL season since 2021. Dube batted in different positions during the season as CSK tried to find the ideal combination in what turned out to be a forgettable season for the five-time champions. They finished at the bottom of the points table for the first time in the IPL.
