England captain Harry Brook celebrated in a unique fashion after smashing a century against Sri Lanka in the third ODI on January 27 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. England posted a massive total of 357/3 in their 50 overs, with Brook leading the charge by scoring an unbeaten 136 off just 66 deliveries.
After reaching his hundred, Brook entertained the crowd with a distinctive celebration. He removed both his gloves, raised them aloft, and then punched his fists together, mimicking the iconic gesture of WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin, who famously performed a similar move with beer bottles during his ring entrances.
This knock marked Brook’s third ODI century and further underlined his rapid rise in international cricket. At a time when world cricket is filled with young talent, Brook’s performance highlighted just how far ahead he is of many of his contemporaries.
