14-year-old sensation, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, continued to impress once again. The left-handed opener smashed a quick-fire century, reaching the three-figure mark off just 52 deliveries. The Bihar-born, known for his fierce, bold, and an extremely attacking stroke play, had already gotten good scores in the series, and a big score, which was always round the corner, came in the 4th Youth ODI between India Under-19 and England Under-19 at the County Ground in Worcester.
The Indian side was forced to bat first as the opposition chose to take the field after winning the toss in the ongoing fourth match of the series. Suryavanshi opened alongside captain Ayush Mhatre, who did not stay for long at the crease. Mhatre made his way back on the first ball of the fourth over, but that did not dent the confidence of his opening partner at all.
Suryavanshi continued his theatrics in the middle and hit everything that was loose, and at times, even the tough balls were put away in style by the teenager. He was joined by Vihaan Malhotra, who made sure there were no hiccups at the other end, as Suryavanshi marauded his blade with a risky yet effective style of cricket. The Samastipur-born batted for 78 deliveries and made a mind-boggling 143 runs before falling in the 28th over of the innings.

His inning was laced with 13 fours and 10 huge maximums, which helped India pick the bones out of the opportunity where they were put into set a target. This was yet another century for the 14-year-old after he had already impressed everyone with a 35-ball century in the Indian Premier League 2025, while playing for Rajasthan Royals.
On the other hand, Malhotra also reached his three-figure landmark, but played a more sensible brand of play as the duo combined perfectly to take the scoreboard to a huge total.
