India head coach Gautam Gambhir was spotted in argument with a groundsman of The Oval ahead of India's fifth Test of the ongoing series against England.

The context behind Gambhir's anger is not confirmed. However, Gambhir could be heard saying 'You’re just a groundsman here' and 'You don't tell us what to do' in a video emerged online. Going by the remarks, it is likely that the Indian coach's irritation stemmed from discussions in relation to the flat nature of the pitches in the series.

Both the teams' skippers have come ahead and spoken about it in detail. Talks with respect to the same have been rampant amongst various ex-players and analysts too.

Another subject under scrutiny has been the overly batting-friendly decks dished out so far. There has been a truckload of runs scored in the four concluded matches as bowlers have found it hard to operate. There have been occurrences where bowlers have struggled to secure a breakthrough for long durations.
