The first session on Day 4 of the Lord's Test between India and England turned out to be a riveting affair as both teams tried to wrestle the momentum in their favour. India picked up four wickets while England scored 96 runs in 24 overs at a run rate of four.
The last wicket to fall in the first session was that of Harry Brook. England's white ball skipper came out to bat when the hosts were in a spot of bother at 50/3. Instead of going into a shell and trying to weather the storm, Brook decided to fight fire with fire.
The right-handed batter hit Akash Deep for two consecutive boundaries, executing the ramp shot to perfection on both occasions. This was after substitute wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel came up to the stumps to prevent Brook from stepping out of the crease and negating any sort of movement that the Bengal spinner was aiming to get.
After the back-to-back boundaries, Deep looked a bit rattled and Indian captain Shubman Gill decided to put a fine leg fielder in place to stop Brook from repeating the ramp shot. However, the 26-year-old wasn't perturbed by the field change as he targeted the opposite area of the field, slamming a six over long-off.

Pumped up Siraj celebrates in Duckett's face after dismissal
In Deep's following over, Brook tried to continue adding pressure on the Bengal seamer as he went for a sweep shot. However, he went too far across to the off-side and got bowled behind his legs. Deep was pumped after the dismissal as he hadn't been having a great time in the Test match prior to the dismissal. In the first innings, he finished wicketless, and he couldn't contribute too much with the bat. In the second innings, the new ball was not given to him. The wicket will do a lot of good for the 28-year-old's confidence.
