Harpreet Brar, who was interviewed by the broadcasters after the match between the Punjab Kings and the Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2025 shared what he got to learn from Yuzvendra Chahal. Brar regarded Chahal to be a legend of spin bowling in the IPL and mentioned the fact that he is the leading wicket-taker in the history of the league.

Brar has been playing the last few matches for the Kings due to Chahal's wrist injury. He has done well in those matches and notably won his side the match against the Rajasthan Royals. The emerging spinner claimed that he wished to learn something from Chahal and did so.

"Obviously, he is the leading wicket-taker of the league. To be clear, he is a legend among the spinners. Before the start of the season, I wished to learn something from him and did," said Brar while speaking with JioHotstar.

"You would have seen that Chahal was not getting wickets in the first few matches of the season. However, when he started to claim wickets, they came in heaps. Cricket is a funny game. I have learnt that you need to wait - you don't need a lot of time for your time to change (laughs)," Brar added.
