The Women's Premier League 2023 (WPL) is just days away and the excitement around the marquee event just doesn't seem to douse. Players and fans are all eagerly waiting to witness women's cricket finally getting a platform that is meant to catapult its global popularity a great manifold.
Amidst all the cacophony, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finally made the tickets for the inaugural WPL available. The opening match of the the WPL 2023 is slated to be played between the Gujarat Giants and the Mumbai Indians, at the Dr. DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Information of availability of offline tickets is still unavailable. However, tickets for the opening match on March 4 between the Gujarat Giants and the Mumbai Indians are available online on the BookMyShow App and Website. Attendees can book their tickets accordingly.
WPL 2023: Ticket Prices
The cost of tickets have been lowered down to a great manifold. For male spectators, the prices of the tickets are as nominal as ₹100 and ₹400, according to details available currently on the BookMyShow website and app. In a major move by the BCCI, female spectators won't be charged any entry fee.
That means, entry for females of any age group is absolutely free. These steps have been inculcated to promote and encourage fans to take interest and come in large numbers without any hindrances to watch and enjoy the matches and cheer for their favourite players.
The marquee event will comprise of 22 matches, with the final to be played on March 26, 2023. During Australia's tour of India in December 2022, the tickets for female fans had been free, and the games witnessed a record number of crowd turning up for the games to support the Women in Blue.
