The last and final game of the T20I series between England and the West Indies is set to be played at The Rose Bowl in Southampton on June 10. England have already claimed the series and will go into the last and final T20I game with a 2-0 lead.

The England team was dominant in the two T20Is, which they won convincingly. The Harry Brook-led side has already had a clean sweep victory in the ODI series and will be looking to do the same in the shortest format of the game. While the first T20I saw a masterclass from Jos Buttler, it was left-arm pacer Luke Wood who was the star of the second game with an incredible spell of 2/25 on what seemed to be a flat surface in Bristol.

The bad luck for the visitors has not ended at all. While there have been some notable performances from some players, they have not resulted positively for them. While the bowlers have consistently leaked runs, the batters have failed to convert their starts. This was evident in the second T20I itself, where Johnson Charles and skipper Shai Hope got out on 40+ scores, and key bowlers in Alzarri Joseph and Jason Holder leaked a lot of runs while defending the target of 197.

Pitch Report

The Southampton wicket seems to get tougher to bat on as the game progresses since the surface is slightly on the drier side. Though the batters have managed to score some runs in the first innings, the ball seems to get stuck in the wicket in the second innings, making this a perfect pitch to bat first and put up some runs on the board. The spinners might get a lot of grip and turn as well.
