MPL 2025: Kolhapur Tuskers vs Puneri Bappa, 12th Match Preview

The upcoming Match 12 of the Maharashtra Premier League (MPL 2025) will be played between the Kolhapur Tuskers (KT) and Puneri Bappa (PB) on Wednesday, June 11. This is set to be an interesting matchup between two teams who will be playing their third game of the season.

The Kolhapur Tuskers will be going into this game with one win and two losses. Though they won their opening game against defending champions Ratnagiri Jets convincingly by seven wickets, they suffered a disappointing loss against the table toppers, Eagle Nashik Titans. Following that, they conceded another defeat in what was a game which down to the wire against the Satara Warriors. They failed to score nine runs in the last over and eventually lost the match by seven runs.

As a result, Satara finally secured their first win of the tournament. While Kolhapur continue to remain at four points on the MPL points table. The Rahul Tripathi-led side, Kolhapur, will now be hoping to bounce back from the last game and get back to winning ways.

While it has been a roller coaster of a season for the Tuskers, the Puneri Bappa side are enjoying a great run so far by winning two back-to-back games in the MPL 2025. They not only dominated the Jets in a rain-affected game but also won by a huge margin of 99 runs against the Raigad Royals (RR) as well. They are second on the points table, and a win in their next game can take them to the top of the table.
