The second ODI of the series between West Indies and Pakistan will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad on August 10. Not a lot of changes are expected to be made across both teams.

Speaking of the first game, Pakistan made full use of the momentum they gained in the T20I leg of the series. None of Evin Lewis (60 off 62), Shai Hope (55 off 77) and Roston Chase (53 off 54) could convert their half-centuries into a bigger score as West Indies ended up with 280 in 49 overs. The new-ball pair of Shaheen Shah Afridi (4/51 in eight overs) and Naseem Shah (3/55 in eight overs) proved to be crucial for Pakistan.

The touring team, however, was on the back foot after being reduced to 180/5 in the 38th over of the run-chase before Hasan Nawaz (63* off 54) and Hussain Talat's (41* off 37) unbeaten 104-run sixth-wicket stand off just 70 balls got Pakistan over the line.

West Indies would be desperate to level the series and stay alive as losing could dent their quest for an automatic qualification for the 2027 World Cup.
