Two great teams, two great games and two different results in the first couple of games in the series means that the third and final T20I of the series between West Indies (WI) and Pakistan (PAK) on Monday, August 4 at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, Florida will come as a series-deciding encounter for either teams.
The Windies started off the series by losing their sixth consecutive game in the format, as they fell short by just 14 runs in the first T20I. However, their comeback showed why the team has been crowned T20 World Cup champions for two times previously. A clinical all-round show from Jason Holder sealed the hosts a win in the second game at the same venue, as they levelled the series with a last-ball thriller.
Pakistan, on the other hand, had a stellar start to their campaign, which was crucial as they stepped on the Caribbean land on the back of a first-ever series loss to Bangladesh. However, the side could not carry the winning momentum in the second game on Sunday, as they posted a paltry total in the first innings, and the bowlers could not have enough under their belt to defend against the Shai Hope-led side.
