Puneri Bappa secured a five-wicket victory over Ratnagiri Jets in Match 24 of the Maharashtra Premier League (MPL 2025) on June 17. They were chasing a revised target of 132 runs (via DLS method) due to a rain interruption, and comfortably crossed over the line to book their place in the playoffs.

After being put in to bat, Ratnagiri Jets lost opener Dhiraj Phatangare for a duck. However, Atharva Dharmadhikari and Kiran Chormale steadied the innings with a 50-run stand for the second wicket. Dharmadhikari was dismissed for 20 off 14 balls, followed by captain Azim Kazi, who managed just nine before falling to Roshan Waghsare.

The middle order showed resilience as Divyang Hinganekar stitched a 44-run partnership with Abhishek Pawar and added another 30 runs with Nikhil Naik. These partnerships helped Ratnagiri Jets post a decent total of 154/9 in their 20 overs. For Puneri Bappa, Sachin Bhosale claimed 4 wickets for 38 runs in his four-over spell.

He was involved in partnerships with Murtaza Trunkwala (38 for the first wicket), Rushikesh Sonawane (31-run stand), and captain Yash Kshirsagar (45-run partnership for the third wicket).
