Dallas Lonestars' four-match winning streak came to an end on Saturday, October 11, as they lost to Houston Generals CC by 21 runs at the University of Texas Dallas in match No. 15 of the National Cricket League (NCL) T10 2025.

Samit Patel won the toss for Dallas and opted to field first. Houston Generals got off to a scintillating start as their openers added 74 runs inside the first eight overs. Kennar Lewis was dismissed for an 18-ball 26 in the eighth over. However, this dismissal turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Houston as Chandrapaul Hemraj came out to the crease and bludgeoned his way to an unbeaten 34 off 10 balls. The southpaw hit two fours and four sixes during his whirlwind innings.

Bosisto, who was dismissed by Naqash Basharat in the 10th over, made 52 off 31 balls, hitting five fours and three sixes. This was his second consecutive half-century in the competition. Samit was the other wicket-taker apart from Basharat. Houston finished on a daunting score of 118/2 in 10 overs.

In the second innings, Aaron Johnson and Colin Munro played decent cricket before Bosisto sent the former packing for a 13-ball 15. Munro and Mikyle Louis tried to take Dallas closer to their target. However, Hemraj dismissed Louis in the eighth over to jolt Dallas' hopes of a win.

21 runs came off the penultimate over, bowled by Nisarg Patel. Chadwick Walton and Munro needed to score another 22 runs in the last over to take their team to victory. However, Jason Behrendorff bowled magnificently, picking up three wickets and giving away just two runs. Dallas were restricted to 97/5 in their 10 overs. Behrendorff finished with excellent figures of 3/13 in two overs.

While Dallas finished at the top of the table despite the defeat, the Houston Generals moved to No. 2. These two teams will face each other once again on Sunday in Qualifier 1.
