Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans will lock horns in match 39 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League 2023 on Saturday, April 29 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. 

Kolkata Knight Riders ended their four-match losing streak in IPL 2023 after a victory over RCB in the latter's den by a margin of 21 runs. KKR have won three games and lost five out of eight games played. Currently, they are seventh on the IPL points table, having a net run rate (NRR) of -0.027.

Jason Roy has been the man-in-form for KKR, as he has aggregated 160 in three games at an average of 53.33 and an excellent strike rate of 170.21. In the bowling department, Varun Chakravarthy has picked thirteen wickets in eight games. KKR would look to carry forward their winning momentum when they meet GT in their upcoming encounter. 

Gujarat Titans are coming into the contest after a victory over Mumbai Indians by a comfortable margin of 55 runs. GT have won five games and lost two out of seven games played. Currently, they are placed second on the IPL points table, having a net run rate (NRR) of 0.580. 

Shubman Gill has been the man-in-form for GT, as he aggregated 284 in seven games at an average of 40.57 and a good strike rate of 142.71. In the bowling department, Rashid Khan has already picked fourteen wickets in seven games. They would look also to carry forward their winning momentum when they meet KKR in their upcoming encounter.
