The Punjab Kings are set to face the Lucknow Super Giants at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala, on May 4. The match is scheduled as the second one of a double-header and the game will begin at 7:30 PM IST.
This will be the second meeting between the two sides in IPL 2025. In their previous encounter, PBKS became the winning team by eight wickets in Lucknow by commendable batting performances from Prabhsimran Singh, Shreyas Iyer, and Nehal Wadhera. PBKS currently sit in fourth place with six wins on the points table and will look to use the home advantage to get closer for a playoff spot.
LSG’s campaign has been a mixed one with five wins and five losses. The Rishabh Pant-led side has struggled with consistency and will aim for a win desperately to stay in contention for the playoffs.
This will be the first match of IPL 2025 hosted at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala, which is also one of PBKS’s home grounds for this year's tournament.
