India Women won the fourth T20I of the ongoing five-match series against England Women by a six-wicket margin. With this, they took an unassailable lead making the final match between the two teams nothing more than a dead rubber.

It was also a significant moment in India's cricketing history as far as women's cricket is concerned. This was the first time that they had won a T20I bilateral series of more than two matches against England after losing all five of their previous series.

List of bilateral T20I series between India and England (2+matches) in women's cricket so far:

Speaking of the fourth match which sealed the series for the visitors, it was a clinical display by the bowlers who kept England to 126/7 at the end of their 20-over quota. India chased down the score in 17 overs after losing only four wickets as compared to the opposition's seven.

Radha Yadav (2/15 in four overs) and Shafali Verma (31 off 19) were the standout performers for the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team. Harmanpreet contributed with a 26-run score off 25 deliveries. Interestingly, India got to their target without hitting a single maximum in their innings.
