#6 Draco Malfoy – Steve Smith

Draco-Malfoy---Steve-Smith

Not many might agree with this choice, but there is one strong point connecting Draco Malfoy and Steve Smith. Both these individuals, despite possessing spectacular talent, took some horrendous decisions in their lives, which puts them on the same page.

Hailed as the most consistent batsman in Tests after Sir Donald Bradman, Steve Smith was really scaling new, unattained heights. He was ranked number 1 amongst batsmen in Tests and the second best is still a country mile away. But some controversies like the Sandpaper gate or the DRS scandal in Bangalore affected his reputation big time.

Whilst these were incidents which he could’ve easily avoided, he ended up on the wrong side of things and is now paying the penalty. Smith currently is serving a one-year ban after his involvement in ball-tampering. He clearly is repenting and is highly likely to come back stronger than ever before.

Draco always hated Harry Potter for snubbing him and choosing Ron and Hermione as his friends on their first day at Hogwarts. Although he does some mischievous things over the years, he never meant any harm. Bowing to fear, he decided to aid Voldemort and attempted to kill Albus Dumbledore. In the end, he just runs away with his family whilst the death eaters were battling against Potter’s faithful.

Despite all the negative things these both personalities were a part of, they amassed a huge fan base and showed that talent reigns supreme above everything.
